That's why it took me about five years from the time Facebook was launched to set up an account. Another who was, and still is, stuck in Gaza posted regular news about the reality of daily life there. But as wonderful as it is to connect with people I felt Facebook was becoming a huge distraction. On Facebook people are able hide behind the lack of eye contact and allow their feelings to really heat up. But I really don't.
