Behind the bits of coloured cardboard are lessons that could apply to more pressing problems in life outside my lounge. In life, framing issues first can help us to see things more clearly. Maybe it’s not your own performance that causes your workmate to be grumpy; things on the periphery of her life could explain her behaviour. Giving something the time it deserves but knowing when to let it go is smart in both puzzling and in life. Maybe some of the lessons learned while doing jigsaws can help in some small way at tackling life’s other issues to build a more complete picture.
