Lidl launch hot cross bun flavour wine just in time for EasterLidl's new spring wine tastes just like hot cross buns. Picture: LidlLidl are now selling a wine that, according to experts, tastes just like hot cross buns - and it's vegan! The supermarket's Moscatel Reserva de Familia wine has notes of raisin and fig which closely resembles the flavour of the sweet buns. What makes it so hot cross bun-like is the vegan wine's maturation in oak barrels, keeping its sweet, syrupy texture.
