FC Barcelona icon Gerard Piqué will bring his King's League team of soccer all-stars to the 2026 version of The Soccer Tournament. The tournament, which features men's, women's and mixed divisions of elite squads of players and celebrities from around the world competing for $1 million prizes, takes place May 27-June 1 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Kings League is a 7-on-7 soccer league started in Spain in 2023 that blends fast-paced, seven-a-side action with gamified rules inspired by streaming and gaming culture. There are Kings Leagues in Spain, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, the Middle East and North Africa, Germany and France. Teams are owned and controlled by soccer legends, streamers and content creators.
