Zubair Fathi Mohamed Ramada, a 20-year-old man from Libya, today pleaded guilty to voluntarily damaging a vehicle and was ordered to pay damages worth €623 over the span of six months. The Libyan was also conditionally discharged. ADVERTISEMENTIn his drunken state, the accused picked up rocks he saw around him and smashed the car’s windscreen. The owner of the car, Mr David Attard, reported the damage to the police, who identified the accused through CCTV footage of him committing the act. Magistrate Charmaine Galea, presiding over the case, granted him a two year conditional discharge and ordered him to pay the damages to Mr Attard over a span of six months.
