Scores of Libyan parliament members from both sides of the split country arrived in the coastal city of Sirte as Libya’s divided parliament is scheduled to meet for a vote of confidence on the new interim government under Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, on Monday. Earlier this week, Dbeibah said he had sent his proposed lineup to parliament ahead of the confidence vote. The ceasefire was supposed to include reopening the main coast road through Sirte, which is held by the LNA. It is not clear how many of the 200 parliament members elected in 2014 will attend the session, with about 75 having arrived by late on Sunday, parliament spokesman Abdullah Belhaq told Reuters. A Sirte official on Sunday said the city was ready for the meeting due to be held in a convention center.
