Liberia: CDC Islamic Cleric Disappointed in President Weah

Sheikh Sheriff pointed out that one classic attention-grabbing example is the President’s recent appointment of fellow partisan Jalloh as Islamic Advisor to the President, when according to Sheikh Sheriff, Jalloh, no consultations were held amongst Islamic stakeholders to determine the best way forward. That partisan died to save our President [Weah], Sheikh Sheriff noted. CDC Islamic Affairs Chairlady only identified as Musu lost her life on the grounds of the Party Headquarters late December 2017 immediately after the Presidential Runoff Election which brought President George M. Weah to power. Sheikh Sheriff further narrated that he lost his marriage as a result of his unbending support and loyalty to the Congress for Democratic Change.
