Located in Paynesville, outside Monrovia, the Peace Hana School System is a subsidiary of Women Federation. The Women Federation international volunteer pointed out that her visit is also geared to promote the programs and activities of Women Federation-Liberia and the Peace Hana School System. “Since 1994, the Women Federation for World Peace visited Liberia and the Peace Hana School System was established in 1998. Since then, Japan has also been supportive to the Peace Hana School System,” she stated. In remarks, the acting President of Women Federation for World Peace-Liberia, Madam Thelma Howard, lauded Missionary Hasegawa for her continued support to the children of Liberia, especially in the education sector.
