Macaulay Sombai, [email protected]Monrovia – The long-awaited Extraordinary Congress of the Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) that was expected to be held on Thursday, May 3, at the Association’s Headquarters on Broad Street could not be held due to the absence of 80 percent of the stakeholders. According to LBA, the congress was due to kickoff the national league, which has not been played for months. “I am a registered president of K-Delta to date with all financial records. Anderson, in an exclusive interview with this paper on Wednesday, May 2, said all was set for the commencement of the 2018 national league and that an extraordinary congress was to be held on Thursday, May 3. With the abandonment of the Congress, it is now unclear when the long-awaited league will kickoff.
