Liberia: Murdered Journalist Family Complain of Police Reluctance to Share Information

Johnson-Mbayo, [email protected]Monrovia – The family of the late Super FM Journalist Tyron Brown has expressed frustration over the lack of information dissemination by authority of the police. A communication by the family in possession of FPA says no update of information has been given the family since the arrest of Jonathan Williams and suspects who admitted to the gruesome murder of the journalist. “It is yet to be told to the family of what the process was like,” states the communication. Suspects Alice Youti, Edwina You, Caesar Kennedy, Joana Bracewell, Massa Kennedy were released on the bail following a bond from the Family Dollar Insurance Company. Seven suspects are charged by the Liberia National Police of which six were taken to the magisterial court.
