The service point - set up on the front yard of the most beautiful precinct in Chiang Mai - attracted a lot of attention and many people took pictures with the police officers on duty, against the backdrop of vast greenery and mountains. Superintendant Pol Colonel Anu Noenhaad said he wanted to take advantage of the view so he set up a table and chairs in the front yard as people lodged complaints and opinions. In future, they plan to add more tables so people could stop by for souvenir shots or have coffee, he said. The precinct's jurisdiction area of Tambon Lhong Khot is located 60 kilometres from Chiang Mai City, has a population of about 4,600 people and covers 187,500 rai of land, 90 per cent of which is mountainous forest area. The area is also famous for premium-grade mango.
