Teaching needs to create relationships and understandings between all peoples. To accomplish this, all centers of learning, including the family, need to be teaching and exemplifying civil dialogue. The components of civil dialogue are identifiable, teachable, can be practiced and be evaluated. Our schools would be performing a lasting service to our country to start teaching civil dialogue. The materials and resources for teaching civil dialogue are currently available.
