MetroWest Daily NewsFramingham will see a march and rally on Saturday, Sept. 11 against the construction of another women’s prison for all of Massachusetts. Activists from throughout the state have started in Amherst, marching 90 miles to build support for a prison moratorium bill, S2030. has been part of the unsuccessful mass incarceration project attacking people of color. It will indicate we lack of interest in new ideas and science-based innovations, and will prolong mass incarceration. Citizens should attend the 10 a.m. rally at MCI Framingham on Sept. 11.
