New Delhi: On the lines of #SelfieWithDaughter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a campaign titled #BharatKiLaxmi aimed at creating a social media dialogue to honour women. With the start of the festival season, people should make efforts to spread festivities among the under privileged, Modi said. He also spoke about running a campaign to talk about women achievers on social media under the hashtag #BharatKiLaxmi. In November last year, Modi in his radio show, had pointed out how the show had led to mass movement in the time of social media, including SelfieWithDaughter, CleanIndiaCampaign among others. Speaking about the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Modi reiterated the need for eliminating single-use plastic from everyday lives.
