One said: “If it had hit the stadium or even landed near the entrance who knows what would have happened. “It sounds mad but it was like the pilot was trying to get away from the stadium. The helicopter in Leicester is believed to have two engines operating from a gear box which drive the main rota. When you lose engine power you can glide if handled skilfully.
