Lei Yue Mun camp to admit recovering virus patients under 50

The Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village will admit recovering coronavirus patients under the age of 50 starting from tomorrow. Deputy Hospital Chief Executive of Tin Shui Wai Hospital, Larry Lee Lap-yip, said those patients have to be able to take care of themselves and are stable, have no fever and no symptoms such as diarrhea, and do not need to take antiviral drugs. Lee said there are many detached units which include separate bathrooms and toilets in the holiday village, and that it is relatively far away from residential homes and close to the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. Medical workers will collect deep-throat saliva samples from patients for testing every day, and they will be discharged if two samples return negative.
