A Lego-obsessed family have built an incredible eight-foot-tall Christmas advent calendar made of 450,000 multi-coloured bricks for the festive season. Mr Addis estimates he and his wife spent around five hours a day and a total of 235 hours to complete the festive masterpiece. A look behind window four shows a Lego Christmas pudding and mince pies while another scene shows a painting of Saint Nicholas above the fireplace. Other scenes inside the calendar include Christmas dinners, ginger bread houses, a snowman, soldiers, and Santa Claus himself. A Lego scene of nature reserve Wicken Fen appears behind door 14 on the Advent Calendar.
