Barring a miracle, Sony would be thrilled with anything approaching $10 million this weekend but will likely have to settle for over/under $7m. LEGO Movie 2 sneaked last weekend and How to Train Your Dragon 3 is already selling out their sneak preview showings scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00 pm. I'd expect The LEGO Movie 2 to be the month's biggest domestic grosser (if under the $257m cume of The LEGO Movie) while How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (whose predecessor earned $620m worldwide) wins worldwide. That 2000 release earned $181m domestic which is still (sans inflation) the second-biggest romantic comedy ever behind My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The first sleeper earned $55 million domestic and $115m worldwide on a $5m budget.
