A broad blueprint to replace Nelson’s existing resource management plan has been put on hold pending new legislation announcements. The decision to pause the Whakamahere Whakatū Nelson Plan (WWNP) was foreshadowed in an environment and climate committee meeting earlier this month, and the decision was made at the end of the full council meeting on Tuesday, reconvened from last week.
