Legio Maria church has called on President William Ruto to reach out to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta after indicating he is ready to meet Azimio leader Raila Odinga. "We request the President to extend the same move to the former president, Uhuru Kenyatta. Ruto has said he is ready to meet o Raila “anytime” after months of anti-government protests that have sparked international alarm and calls for dialogue. "Once our leaders meet and agree, I am sure they shall consider victims of police brutality. On July 10, Legio Maria urged Ruto to call Raila and agree on how best Kenyan problems can be addressed “without much drama”.
