Smartmatic, right now, had nothing to do with the counting of votes,” Comelec spokesman James Jimenez told reporters following a House of Representatives hearing on glitches that marred the May 13 midterm elections. “The issue goes beyond just that … Kailangan nating sundin ‘yung proseso (We need to follow the process),” he added.
