Lee Lam Thye: Step up efforts to find missing pastor - Nation

PETALING JAYA: The authorities should go all out to find Raymond Koh, said Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) senior vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye. In a statement on Friday, he said MCPF is concerned about the abduction of the 62-year-old pastor, adding that the situation should be resolved quickly as it has caused great pain to Koh's family. He said Thursday's statement by Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar to update the family regularly on the status of the investigation is a step in the right direction. "It shows that the police are concerned about Koh’s family and are doing their best to solve the case as soon as possible," said Lee. Lee said Koh's unresolved abduction has attracted the attention of international human rights organisations and religious organisations and has highlighted safety issues in the country.
