KUALA LUMPUR: With PT3 exams just around the corner, students can do some last-minute preparations by taking part in the upcoming PT3 English Workshop organised by the New Straits Times. Conducted by Jacob Mathew, an experienced English teacher of 28 years, the workshop will focus on giving students tips and strategies on how to ace the PT3 English examination paper. “Based on my experience as a teacher teaching Form 3 English language, I have found a few common problems that students encounter in their preparations. “For this section, students need to brush up on their knowledge of English grammar. Some other types of writing format students need to be aware of too, are: speeches, reports, analysis of graphs, charts are tables, and pictorial or narrative compositions.
