ATHLETICS: National long jump titleholder Jordan Peters has continued his winning ways, making the longest leap at the Jumps in Paradise meeting he helped organise. Peters took out the men's long jump with his opening-round jump of 7.24 metres. It is ironic this was the only jump in both the triple jump and long jump competitions that recorded an excessive wind reading. Forbes Kennedy, who is the Colgate Games 13-year long jump champion, will compete in the long jump and the 300m. The talented Sam Mackinder will represent us in the senior girls' long jump, high jump and javelin.
