They called on the National Cohesion and Integration Commission to investigate and arrest leaders making inciting statements to get votes. Speaking at Deliverance Church in Kapenguria, the leaders led by Senator John Lonyangapuo urged church leaders to pray for the country and preach peace. Lonyangapuo asked residents to elect development minded leaders and shun politicians making inflammatory statements. He has urged leaders to shun statements that might result to violence.
