A Kenya XI team captained by Shem Obado welcome Oman at Nairobi Jafferys while a Select Team captained by Alex Obanda will at Sikh Union to battle it out with Singapore. Kenya XI consists the bulk of players who played for the national team that went down 4-0 to Uganda last month. Obanda, who has struggled for form in the national team is the only formidable batsman in the Select Team that is highly composed of uncapped players that are looking to get a place in the national team. Kanbis spinner Pushpak Kerai who was also part of the squad against Uganda is also in the squad alongside U19 prospect Adarsh Sawjani. Stray Lions’ wicketkeeper Abraham Vadada will be a key player behind the stumps for Kenya XI in the absence regular wicket keeper Irfan Karim.
