PETALING JAYA: The lawyer who gave himself up to the police for allegedly molesting a varsity student at a Bandar Sungai Long condominium will be charged in court on Tuesday, said Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Othman Nanyan. He added that the 33-year-old suspect will be charged at the Kajang Court on Tuesday for two separate offences, and said this was as per instructions received from the deputy public prosecutor (DPP). ACP Othman said that the suspect will face one charge under Section 354 of the Penal Code for assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty and one more charge under Section 511 of the Penal Code for attempting to commit the same offence. The lawyer surrendered himself to the police on Friday and was detained after he was positively identified by the victim. They said the man also tried to grab Ong’s breasts but he fled when she shouted.
