Law Minister Anisul Huq has said the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) might investigate the allegations brought against Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha. The minister made the statement while talking to the journalists at the secretariat on Sunday. He said: “The Anti Corruption Commission might investigate the matter as all the allegations brought against the chief justice are under their jurisdiction.”The law minister said: “The allegations raised against him needs to be investigated. “The action against him will be decided based on the findings of the probe, following legal procedure.”Replying to a query about how Sinha was allowed to leave Bangladesh, he said: “He [Sinha] is still the chief justice. The statement said that the written statement that Sinha supplied to journalists on Friday night before his departure was confusing and the Supreme Court had issued this statement to clarify the matter.
