Lauren Alexandra Faircloth Miller and Walter Brodie Burwell III were married Aug. 25 at St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain, N.C. She graduated from Middlebury College and received a master’s degree in international studies at Johns Hopkins University. She is the daughter of Sandra D. Faircloth and Robert G. Miller of Sarasota, Fla. Her mother retired as a senior manager of global benefits at FMC Corporation, a chemical manufacturing company in Philadelphia. He graduated from Middlebury College and received a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke.
