Minister of External Affairs in India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishanker has stated that the country’s transformation over the last decades has enabled it to be an example, contributor and a partner. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday said this while addressing the Nigerian Institute Of International Affairs (NIIA) in Lagos on India and the Global South. “The transformation over the last decade has enabled India to be an example, a partner and a contributor. Speaking also, Former Minister of External Affairs, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi said he is always fascinated whenever he reads about profound role India is playing in international and global affairs. In attendance were The Director-General of NIIA, Professor Eghosa Osaghae; Professor of Economics, Professor Pat Utomi and so many others.
