Tata Motors successfully launched the Punch EV in the Indian market a few days ago, and the electric SUV has now begun its nationwide deliveries, as reported by HT. The Punch EV is offered in two variants: Standard and Long Range, and it comes in five different trim levels: Adventure, Smart, Smart+, Empowered, and Empowered+. This marks Tata Motors’ second electric SUV after the Nexon EV and the fourth all-electric car from the company, following the Tiago EV, Tigor EV and Nexon EV. Notably, the Punch EV is the first vehicle from Tata Motors built on the acti.ev pure electric architecture, a modular platform designed to accommodate various electric vehicles across different body styles. In terms of design, the Tata Punch EV shares a similar styling with the internal combustion engine (ICE) variant of the SUV but incorporates distinctive design elements specific to its electric nature.
