The threshold for herd immunity is the proportion of a community that has become immune to a disease, either through immunization or natural infection. "I hope Las Piñeros would have a happy Christmas so I call on everyone to get vaccinated against Covid-19 so that we can achieve herd immunity by Christmas," she said. A 2020 Philippine Statistics Authority census said Las Piñas has a population of 606,293.
