Surrey RCMP say they made a significant drug bust last month seizing more than 5,000 doses of suspected fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine and cash. Search warrants were executed at two locations along 127 Street after an investigation into drug traffickers who police believe were selling in the 135A Street area of the Whalley neighbourhood. "The 135A Street area and the people that frequent that area have been significantly impacted by the ongoing fentanyl health crisis." In total Surrey RCMP say they seized:4,140 doses of suspected heroin/fentanyl521 doses of methamphetamine410 doses of crack cocaine$16,000 in cashWanda Stopa helped plan a rally in October to raise awareness for the homeless population along the 135A Street strip.
