"I feel very proud that I was able to get the first gold medal for my country at the Youth Olympics. We had heard about the youth Olympics in 2014 and I was working on it ever since," Lalrinnunga told PTI. "It wasn't easy for me to reach the youth Olympics, there were a lot of problems. "But the people around me -- my coach and family members -- really motivated me and I was able to compete. "I am really delighted that my coach and I were recognised for our achievements.
