Land Rover New Zealand's Sir Edmund Hillary Edition will be limited to just 20 cars. To celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of a New Zealand legend, Sir Edmund Hillary, Land Rover New Zealand is releasing a special run of Limited Edition Discoverys. Just 20 of the Sir Edmund Hillary Edition Discoverys will be built, all based on the Discovery Td6 HSE, but with a range of optional off-road enhancements as standard. Each limited edition Discovery will also come with a commemorative, uncirculated $5 note signed by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1993, as well as a $2,000 voucher for the Edmund Hillary clothing line. The limited-edition model will be available to purchase through Land Rover dealers around New Zealand from this month.
