A man was arrested by KWS officers in Lamu after he was found with more than 50 kg of turtle meat on Wednesday. Lamu KWS senior warden Jacob Orale said two of his accomplices escaped during the arrest in Pate island, Lamu East but were being hunted down. Orale said there was an increase in turtle poaching in Pate and other islands in Lamu East.
