Of the 11 institutions, 10 were Kisii University campuses in Western, Nyanza and Rift Valley. The CUE gave 11 university campuses 90 days to relocate their students to accredited campuses or their main institutions. Laikipia University will close five campuses from January 2017 to consolidate its limited resources, VC Francis Lelo has said.
