Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday held its special congress to fill vacant positions in its exco, electing former Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon Oluseye Oladejo and former member of the State House of Assembly from Ojo II Constituency, Hon Lanre Ogunyemi, as publicity secretary and state secretary respectively. Other positions filled at the congress included that of Assistant Legal Adviser, which was won by Barr (Mrs) Abimbola Ladigbolu. Oladejo, a former chairman of Mushin Local Government Area and one-time Special Adviser to ex-Governor Babatunde Fashola on Commerce and Industry replaced Mr Joe Igbokwe, who is currently Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Water Resources. Ogunyemi, who was a former Secretary of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Lagos State, succeeded the immediate past APC Secretary, Dr Wale Ahmed. (Mrs) Toke Benson-Awoyinka, who is currently the Special Adviser on Housing to Governor Sanwo-Olu.
