In case you weren’t already aware, Bradley Cooper has decided to make his directorial debut with a remake of A Star is Born – starring none other than Lady Gaga. But Gaga has since taken the reigns, and will co-star alongside Cooper, Sam Elliot and Andrew Dice Clay. The story of A Star is Born is so special and I’m so grateful to Bradley for making my dream come true. Can’t wait for you to meet Ally.”The original film starred Janet Gaynor in 1937, and was followed by a remake starring Judy Garland, and then yet another remake starring Barbra Streisand in 1976. Let’s see if Cooper and Gaga can keep that star banner afloat, with their version set to hit theatres in September 2018.
