A third – Miss Asia – managed to evade capture and was recovered by police. The dog walker tried to fight them off and was shot by one of the men wielding a semiautomatic handgun during the struggle. Having escaped the attack, Miss Asia was taken to LAPD’s headquarters and retrieved by one of the singer’s bodyguards. Miss Asia has her own Instagram account, featuring pictures in costume, on the red carpet and with Father Christmas. Capt Jonathan Tippett, commanding officer of the LA police’s elite robbery-homicide division, said it was not yet clear if the dog walker was targeted because of his celebrity client.
