(Courtesy photo)LACONIA — The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation held its 17th Annual Community Spelling Bee at Laconia High School Thursday night. The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation president, Michael Nolan, opened the evening greeting all in attendance and giving a little background about the Foundation. Receiving the award for the best adult costume were the "Spirit Spellers," Martha Clement, Ruth Gill and Lorrienne Valovanie during the 17th Annual Community Spelling Bee at Laconia High School on Thursday. Presenting the award is Paulette Laughlin of the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation.
