MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways on Tuesday said the area where the deadly collision in Agoo, La Union occurred is now free from any hazard. DPWH Assistant District Engineer Raul Gali said there are no more obstructions or hazards of any ongoing projects may disturb the flow of vehicular traffic and distract the attention of drivers passing by the road, Barangay San Jose Sur, Agoo, La Union. A bus operated by Partas and a private jeepney bumped head-on on Christmas day. READ: Christmas tragedy: Road collision kills 20 in La UnionThe initial police investigation showed that the private jeepney was carrying 29 passengers while the bus was carrying 31 individuals. The passengers of the private jeepney were supposed to visit Our Lady of Manaoag Church in Pangasinan and was about to overtake another vehicle when it collided into the Partas bus.
