The Lady Spikers leaned on a balanced attack to open their title-retention campaign on a win. “All of the situations went to our favor that’s why we won,” said La Salle head coach Ramil De Jesus. Seasoned spiker May Luna and rookie hitter Jolina Dela Cruz tallied 11 markers apiece while Aduke Ogunsanya chipped in 10 points. Sophomore setter Michelle Cobb accounted for 29 of La Salle’s 30 excellent sets.
