In a statement, the Center for Women’s Resources (CWR) scored the “attacks against women,’’ maintaining that these did not only continue but worsened under the “misogynistic and sexist Duterte administration’’. As of November 2018, the group claimed that about 2,000 individuals have been illegally arrested and detained. Earlier, CWR joined the thousands of Filipino women in dancing, raging and rising against all forms of human rights violations in Rajah Sulayman Park, Manila for the seventh year of the One Billion Rising.
