★★★★★When live audiences return to concert halls one thing developed during this pandemic should not be discarded. The art of lighting and filming orchestral concerts has been transformed during these past 12 months. That this has been done without any help from the BBC or the other terrestrial TV companies should not be overlooked, either. They just don’t want to bother filming orchestras at all, even the ones they own. This streamed London Philharmonic concert was as thrilling to watch as it was to hear, which is saying something.
