Recently I was out riding my bike when a van driver decided to squeeze between me and a traffic island. Some 200 metres later and we were reunited by a temporary traffic light. I pulled up alongside and gave the driver a look. He wound down his window and asked me if I had a problem. I suggested he was way too close when he went past me, and should have waited a couple of seconds — just a couple of seconds — before overtaking me.
