The Makati City Police has prepared its search and rescue team to respond to emergencies brought about by the possible effects of typhoon “Ompong,” which is expected to make landfall in Isabela-Cagayan on Saturday. The Makati City police will be at its “highest level of readiness” for the typhoon, it said in a statement issued Friday. ADVERTISEMENTMembers of the search and rescue team are also on standby and will be deployed to areas of concern when necessary, it added.
