On midnight Sunday, the Black Nazarene had a thanksgiving procession over selected streets in Quiapo. Apart from earlier reports, the Black Nazarene left its home at about 2 a.m.ADVERTISEMENTThe iconic image, welcomed by almost 250,000 devotees, entered the Quiapo Church at exactly 10:31 a.m., a police official said. The Black Nazarene leaves its home thrice a year: during its Feast Day on January 9, Good Friday, and on the last day of the year.
