ETDA and LINE have agreed to increase their efforts to share information, attempt to predict what internet-related social problems may occur in Thailand and work together to resolve such problems. It may also carry out research and development into potential internet safety needs in Thailand. LINE has been developing digital literacy programmes designed to promote internet safety since April, 2014. LINE Thailand advised ETDA of the programmes and discussions began which led to the agreement. The original educational materials developed in Japan were translated into Thai and localised for Thai culture.
