No one was injured in the incident. Jor Sor 100 traffic radio station reported that the fire started at 9.31am on Sukhumvit Road in front of the Gateway Ekamai shopping mall. Police closed a section of the inbound Sukhumvit Road, causing traffic to back up to Bang Chak BTS station. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to extinguish the flames that destroyed the air-conditioned bus No Por-Or 40. The bus runs from Lam Sa Lee area and Ramkhamhaeng University to the Southern Bus Terminal.
